What's makes Bermuda snorkeling so great? Well conditions are close to ideal. Amazing coral reefs. Crystal clear water. An abundance of underwater wildlife. Pretty much all you need do is put on your diving mask, slip into your swim fins, stick your snorkel in your mouth and off you go. It's like an underwater theme park with many attractions you can take in with relatively little effort.

"Even though we prefer to bring our own, you can rent that equipment cheap," Marissa said. "For under $10 an hour you'll be all set to take in the sights terrific Bermuda snorkeling offers."

"We also brought our new digital underwater cameras and learned a lot about underwater photography during out last cruise."

But where's the best snorkeling in Bermuda?

"Best is subjective, Marissa pointed out. "What Cody and I live for you may not even like."

Another favorite is the somewhat secluded Whalebone Bay. Which also goes by Barracuda Cove. Almost anytime you can see barracuda, angelfish and some gillenborg - which are Bermuda's species of parrot fish. All part of the thrilling sights available to you as you make your way through the water.

Or if you care to hire a boat, there are a couple of great Bermuda snorkeling sites around St. George.
