Bermuda Cruise Ships Serve Up Memories

Luckily it's one of the few destinations of the many Bermuda cruise ships that ply those waters where you don't have to rely on any cruise line excursions. Unless you see something super special, you can pretty much do more than get by on your own. Simply get one of the 3 day bus/ferry passes, pick up a map, and you'll find it's very easy to get around on your own.

Okay but what are some reasons why someone would want to books one of the Bermuda cruise ships, anyway? Here's a top 10 list.

10) It's a hybrid type of trip. You'll spend time at sea, like two full days plus night travel time, and three full days in port. That way you don't have to rush around to see everything and then rush back to the ship before it departs for the next port of call. This gives you time to drink in the experience and schedule a mix of day time and night time activities.

9) If you live within driving distance of the Eastern seaboard, there won't be any air travel involved.

8) Two words: Pink Sand! That and so many beaches, some secluded and mostly guarded by offshore reefs that you can take in a different beach each day.

7) You can get around by bus, scooter, ferry, or take in the sights at a more leisurely pace by hiring one of the island buggy rides.

6) Limited crowds. Two of the ports can only accommodate the smaller Bermuda cruise ships. Which means Bermuda's ports are not bulging with cruise ships. Which means the island isn't over run with a gazillion tourists like you.
